Social Media Community Guidelines Policy
Our Social Media Community Guidelines Policy ensures a respectful and inclusive online space for all users engaging with Careers at Health New Zealand.
By interacting with our content, you agree to follow these rules, which outline expected conduct, prohibited content, and enforcement measures from maintaining a safe and constructive discussion environment.
Purpose
At Health New Zealand, we strive to foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive online community. These guidelines outline our expectations for users engaging with our social media accounts and explain our approach to managing inappropriate content.
Expected Conduct
When interacting with our social media pages, we ask that all users:

Refrain from spamming, trolling, or repeatedly posting the same content.
Prohibited Content
We reserve the right to remove any content that falls into the following categories:

Hate speech: Any form of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or other discriminatory language.

Harassment or threats: Bullying, intimidation, or any form of personal attacks.

Violence or incitement: Encouraging harm, illegal activities, or self-harm.

Misinformation or Disinformation: False or misleading claims that could cause harm.

Spam and self-promotion: Irrelevant links, excessive advertising, or unauthorised promotional content.

Offensive or inappropriate material: Profanity, obscene images, or explicit content.

Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else, including our company representatives.
Moderation & Enforcement

We actively monitor our social media channels and will remove content that violates these guidelines.

Users who repeatedly violate these rules may be muted, restricted, or blocked at our discretion.

We may report accounts engaging in severe violations to the relevant social media platform.

While we encourage open discussion, we will not engage with aggressive or abusive behaviour.
Appeals & Contact
If you believe your content was removed unfairly or you were blocked in error, you may contact us at internationalrecruitmentcentre@tewhatuora.govt.nz. We will review appeals on a case-by-case basis.
Policy Updates
We may update these guidelines as necessary to reflect changes in community standards and platform policies. Continued use of our social media pages constitutes acceptance of these terms.
